Guns N Roses celebrate 2026 World Tour announcement with drone show

Over 300 drones took flight in Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Last night (Mon, Nov 24th), Guns N’ Roses held a special nighttime drone show marking the announcement of their 2026 World Tour, which will bring the band across stadiums, arenas, amphitheaters, and festivals throughout the U.S., Canada, Brazil, the UK, and Europe next spring and summer.

Featuring 300 custom-programmed drones, the ten-minute aerial display featured GNR imagery, motifs, and symbols tied to their new global run, including their long-awaited return to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA, on September 5th, their first time at the venue in over 30 years.

Live Nation hosted a media-only event at the fittingly eerie Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where we were treated to an impressive show designed by Sky Elements that could be seen throughout the area.

On December 2nd, the legendary band will release two new songs: “Nothin” and “Atlas” via Geffen Records. Marking their first releases since 2023, these new songs join “The General” and “Perhaps” as vital additions to setlists otherwise featuring all the classic hits and deep cut fan favorites from GNR’s early catalogue.

With previously announced appearances at festivals in Mexico, Brazil, and the UK, the 31-date tour will feature a European leg with performances in Poland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and France, before GNR returns to North America for a run traversing the United States and Canada.

Last week, the group released a deluxe edition of their Live Era ‘87-’93, a limited vinyl pressing with remastered audio and revamped art. Though Live Era remains a document of GNR in their younger days, the release couldn’t be better timed as GNR is one of the most ferocious live bands on the planet.
