The group embarks on its final tour in 2026
Megadeth is returning to the Great White North as part of its 2026 This Was Our Life world tour, part of the band’s final tour. The band will head to Canada early in the year for a string of dates, starting on February 15th in Victoria and wrapping on March 6th in Québec City.
Cyber Army members get first access starting tomorrow (Wed, Nov 26th) at 10 am local time, ahead of the general sale on Friday, November 28th. VIP packages include Side Stage Experience, meet and greets, VIP photo opp, and VIP merch packages.
The dates follow a Latin American run set for the spring.
The band will also support Iron Maiden’s 50th anniversary Run For Your Lives Tour throughout North America in August 2026. Anthrax will support select dates.
Megadeth has also revealed the full track listing for their self-titled final album that’s due out January 23rd via Dave Mustaine’s Tradecraft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Group’s new BLKIIBLK label. The album includes “Tipping Point,” the previously released first single, and a reimagined version of “Ride the Lightning,” which Mustaine co-wrote with Metallica’s James Hetfield, Cliff Burton, and Lars Ulrich and was the title track from the group’s 1984 album.
