Rockin’ 1000 brings the biggest rock band to The UK

Three hundred musicians will perform together for an epic night of rock in Manchester

Rockin’1000, the global collective of more than 100,000 musicians who perform together in stadiums across the world, is bringing its huge live show to the UK on Saturday, March 7th. Three hundred singers and musicians will take over AO Arena Manchester for a rock concert on a scale the UK has never seen before.

The Biggest Rock Band on Earth will unite guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists, singers, and a large orchestral-style section to perform timeless rock anthems in perfect sync. The Manchester show forms part of Rockin’1000’s growing global movement, which has already filled stadiums in 20 countries and generated hundreds of millions of views online.

“The UK’s music culture is unrivalled, and Manchester is one of the world’s great music cities,” shares founder Fabio Zaffagnini. “Bringing hundreds of musicians together under one roof creates a powerful emotional connection for everyone involved, on stage and in the crowd. We cannot wait to share this experience with UK fans.”

Presales are underway, ahead of the general sale on Friday, December 5th at 10 am GMT.

Rockin’ 1000 began in 2015 with a viral performance featuring one thousand musicians playing a Foo Fighters song in Cesena, Italy. The moment captured global attention and transformed the idea into a worldwide community of more than 100,000 musicians. Since then, Rockin’ 1000 has sold more than 300,000 tickets and staged some of the most ambitious large-scale rock concerts ever conceived.

The Manchester performance will feature an open registration process, inviting musicians of all skill levels to apply. Musicians can join the band, where they will receive confirmations, instructions, tutorials, and event details through the app ahead of the show.

Because the AO Arena show takes place indoors, the number of performers will be reduced to 300. This is the maximum configuration the arena floor can safely accommodate while still delivering Rockin’ 1000’s signature sound. With fewer places available, musician spots will fill faster than usual, and early registration is strongly advised.
