Fans can visit special website for teaser
Bon Jovi is giving fans a unique interactive teaser of their brand new single, “Limitless,” from their forthcoming album Bon Jovi 2020. Weeks before the song is available, fans can go to SingBonJovi.com on their mobile device to record themselves singing the lyrics of the track over an instrumental version of the song. Since no one has heard the full song yet, users will have to bring their own creativity to sing the lyrics how they think they should sound.
Fans will be encouraged to post their videos to Instagram Stories with #SingBonJoviContest for a chance to sing “Limitless” live with Jon Bon Jovi. The winner will be decided by the band and the best videos will be shared on Bon Jovi’s Instagram Stories. The contest will choose a winner later this month when the band releases the single.
The song teaser is a partnership with BBDO New York, and is meant to engage the legion of Bon Jovi fans that have been anxiously awaiting new music.
Jon Bon Jovi says the album will have “socially conscious” themes, including songs about Veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and the recent shootings in Ohio and Texas.
“I’m very happy with it,” he said. “It’s a different record.”
The album is expected to drop this spring via Island Records as the band preps for a summer tour with Bryan Adams. The Bon Jovi 2020 Tour kicks off in June and will play arenas across America.
