Circle Network announces new Gibson series

Gibson: The Scene will feature an in-depth look into historic music venues, studios and more

Circle Network, the award-winning music and lifestyle network dedicated to celebrating everything country, has announced a new collaboration with Gibson TV — the iconic American instrument brand’s first-ever award-winning, worldwide online network featuring original series about music and culture from the world’s best storytellers. The new series titled Gibson: The Scene, will showcase historic music venues and locations across America. Hosted by Mark Agnesi, Director of Brand Experience for Gibson Brands, the show will premiere on Thursday, August 19th at 10 pm EST.

The series features host Mark Agnesi travelling to different hot spots across the US to discover important music landmarks that help shape that city’s music scene. Additionally, viewers will get special behind-the-scenes tours of notable record stores, venues and recording studios like the Station Inn, Carter Vintage Guitars, The Grand Ole Opry House, The Troubadour, RCA Studio A, Capitol Records Studios, Third Man Records, Amoeba Music, and the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum. The show will also include a tour of Gibson’s Nashville-based factory, Gibson USA, as well as the all-new Gibson Garage, which offers music fans the ultimate guitar experience — in the heart of downtown Nashville, Music City USA. The Scene first premiered on the brand’s online network, Gibson TV.

“It’s an absolute honor and dream to take people through some of the most hallowed halls country music has to offer,” says Mark Agnesi, Director of Brand Experience at Gibson Brands. “The first season of Gibson: The Scene takes us through iconic spaces, hidden gems, and everything in between. I can’t wait for our fans to hear about some of the incredible moments that have happened in these settings and add them to their list of places to visit as the entertainment world continues to get back to performing.”

“We are thrilled to partner with Gibson, a truly iconic brand, and show our viewers fresh perspectives of these beloved locations in new, more intimate ways,” adds Evan Haiman, Circle Network Content Senior Vice President. “We’re looking forward to seeing Mark and his team show us these historic halls, but also illustrate how inextricably linked country music is to Gibson guitars.”

Gibson: The Scene will air original programming on Thursdays through October 21st.
