Tribeca will be held this summer
Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams and Steve Aoki are the musicians who will be featured at the 2022 Tribeca Festival Talks program. Tribeca celebrates its 21st year from June 8-19th in New York City.
Williams will kick off the event on Friday, June 10th with “Pharrell in Conversation.” Williams is a visionary recording artist, producer, songwriter, philanthropist, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. He has been honored with a number of accolades including 13 Grammy Awards, two Academy Award nominations, and Emmy nominations. In this special conversation, Williams will discuss his entire ecosystem and what he is focused on now.
On Saturday, June 11th, Swift will discuss All Too Well: The Short Film, which she directed, wrote, produced, and starred in. The video will be screened and followed by a conversation with Swift where she will discuss her approach as a filmmaker. The song marked the 11x GRAMMY winner’s fourth No. 1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100. Clocking in at over 10 minutes, it is the longest song to enter and reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, surpassing the previous record holder, Don McLean’s “American Pie,” which was first released in 1971 with a run time of 8 minutes and 42 seconds.
Steve Aoki will be in Conversation with Seth Green on Monday, June 13th. Counting over three billion music streams to his name, Aoki is a true visionary. The 2x-GRAMMY-nominated artist/DJ/producer and Dim Mak Records founder is a tastemaker, entertainer, designer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist.
