Concert premieres July 15th
Meta is set to host an exclusive concert by Post Malone. Titled Post Malone’s Twelve Carat Toothache: A VR Experience, the 40-minute visually-breathtaking concert film and visual album will premiere on Venues within Horizon Worlds on July 15th at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT.
Directed by Lewis Smithingham and produced by Westbrook Media and Media.Monks, the 180-degree experience, created specifically for VR, coincides with the recent release of Post Malone’s new album Twelve Carat Toothache. The immersive performance, with special appearances by The Kid Laroi, Fleet Foxes and Roddy Ricch, will allow viewers to see and hear his raw journey through the ups and downs of life, pleasure and pain, light and dark, fame and decay.
Post Malone’s Twelve Carat Toothache: A VR Experience will air in Venues within Horizon Worlds and Oculus TV on Meta Quest 2. For fans who don’t own a Meta Quest 2 VR headset, the experience will also be available on Post Malone’s Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as Watch Together on Messenger and Instagram video calls.
The concert film will be available in Horizon Worlds until September 30th.
This fall, Malone will launch the 38-show Twelve Carat Tour across North America with special guest Roddy Ricch. Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on September 10th at CHI Health Center in Omaha, NE making stops in Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Dallas, Atlanta, Vancouver and more before wrapping up in Los Angeles, CA at Crypto.com Arena on November 16th.
