The action begins at 8 pm ET on New Year’s Eve
Carrie Underwood, Megan Moroney, Cody Johnson, Lenny Kravitz, Teddy Swims, Tinashe, and Thomas Rhett are among the performers set for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025 on ABC. The nation’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebration will see Ryan Seacrest return as host for the 20th year with Rita Ora to lead the festivities from Times Square.
Carrie Underwood will perform a medley of her hits before the ball drops at midnight while Megan Moroney will perform a two-song medley from her latest album. British pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor will make her debut on the program with a performance of her platinum hit, “Murder on the Dancefloor.”
“I have such fun memories of performing on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Times Square in both 2007 and 2015, and I’m so excited to perform just before the ball drops again this year,” Underwood shares. “I’m thrilled to celebrate 20 years since winning ‘American Idol’ by joining Ryan as he hosts his 20th New Year’s Eve in Times Square.”
In his 20th year as host of America’s most-watched New Year’s Eve special, Ryan Seacrest will lead the countdown to midnight alongside global superstar Rita Ora live from Times Square. Multi-hyphenate Dayanara Torres will return as co-host in Puerto Rico.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2025 will air Tuesday, December 31st, live on ABC beginning at 8 pm EST and stream the next day on Hulu.
The show, which marks its 54th year, celebrates the year’s very best in music with hours of dynamic performances, America’s favorite personalities, and a look at New Year’s celebrations around the globe.
