Pop star hosts Oct 24th
GRAMMY and Academy Award winner Adele will make her Saturday Night Live hosting debut on October 24th. She has previously performed twice as musical guest, with her first appearance falling 12 years ago on the eve of the 2008 presidential election.
H.E.R. will make her musical guest debut. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has accumulated over 7.5 billion streams worldwide to date.
The show is produced in association with Broadway Video with creator Lorne Michaels as executive producer.
SNL is currently in its 46th season with a limited in person studio audience. Producers of the late night comedy sketch show are adhering to New York state guidelines by paying audience members $150 to watch the show in person while sitting six feet apart from other groups and wearing masks during the taping.
Current New York guidelines claim that shows “must prohibit live audiences unless they consist only of paid employees, cast and crew,” according to Deadline.
Every season of SNL is now streaming on Peacock.
