The rising country star will release her debut track with the label on February 21st
BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville adds Alexandra Kay to its roster welcoming the Prairie State reared performer, as she sets her contagiously catchy and confidently spunky uptempo sing-along “Cupid’s A Cowgirl” to release on Friday, February 21st. This track aligns with the opening weekend of her headlining U.S. and Canada Cupid’s A Cowgirl Tour that starts February 23rd in Jacksonville, Florida.
Proudly capping off her biggest year yet, Alexandra wrapped a milestone 2024 with breakout releases and a packed tour schedule on the road performing and connecting with fans. Being taken under Jelly Roll’s wing, she impacted new audiences across the U.S. on his sold out Beautifully Broken arena tour. Plus, she landed her first inclusion on a motion picture soundtrack when she was featured on Twisters: The Album. Additionally, Kay has sold over 80,000 tickets as an independent headlining artist and is one of the top-selling artists on TikTok Shop for music.
Currently in the studio readying her debut project via BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, Alexandra is proud to start sharing new music with her fans on tour. Up next, she’ll head across the pond for her international All I’ve Ever Known U.K. & Europe Tour that has already sold out in Amsterdam, Glasgow, Birmingham, Belfast and Manchester.
With over 8.5 million social media followers, Alexandra Kay, who starred on Netflix’s series Westside, holds the rare and extraordinary ability to genuinely connect with audiences by just being her authentic true self via heartfelt melodies. Cementing herself as a force to be reckoned with in the industry, the bright and tenacious rising star dropped her debut album – All I’ve Ever Known – in 2023. The project reached No. 1 on the iTunes All Genre and Country charts globally and earned her a spot in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Country Album, Emerging Artist and HeatSeeker charts, independently.
Throughout her career, she has toured and collaborated with Jelly Roll, Randy Travis, Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina, Gary LeVox, Tracy Lawrence, Clay Walker, and Scott Stapp of Creed. Since making her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2022, she has gained an emphatic fan base, toured all over the world, and just a few months ago supported Morgan Wallen at his sold-out Hyde Park show in London and Jelly Roll at his sold-out hometown show in Nashville.
