Alison Krauss & Union Station announces first tour in ten years, new music

The band’s extensive tour kicks off in April

Alison Krauss & Union Station will embark on its first tour in a decade in 2025. The Arcadia 2025 Tour will play 73 shows spanning the US and Canada from April through September. It’ll make the band’s first tour together since 2015 with its first new music in 14 years also on the horizon for 2025.

The trek kicks off on April 17th with two shows in Louisville, Kentucky. The 27-time Grammy-winning bluegrass star will be joined by Union Station multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Ron Block, bassist and vocalist Barry Bales, guitarist and vocalist Russell Moore, and dobro, lap steel and vocalist Jerry Douglas.

“I’m so grateful to get to make music again with my comrades of 40 years,” Krauss says. “They’ve always accomplished incredible work individually and have been constantly traveling because of it. We’re very inspired to experience this new exciting chapter in the band’s history.”

Presales start tomorrow (Wed, Dec 4th) at 10 am local time ahead of the general sale on Friday, December 6th.

Willie Watson will support all dates.

The group’s last new album was Paper Airplane in 2011. Krauss has since released solo music and two critically acclaimed albums with Robert Plant.
