The five song EP is available now

Bailey Zimmerman is perhaps more vulnerable than ever with his latest entry: Religiously. The Acoustic Sessions. The Billboard Country Power Players Rookie of the Year has released five stripped-down tracks from his full-length project to YouTube, filmed in Nashville.

To commemorate, Zimmerman will perform on NBC News’ Today on Tuesday, August 8th.

Zimmerman’s Religiously. The Album. arrived in May as the biggest streaming debut album of the year across all genres as well as the biggest streaming country debut of all time. Billboard has predicted that the tour-de-force project may lead to a 2024 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. It landed Top 3 on Billboard Top Country Albums and No. 7 on the all-genre Billboard 200. Religiously. The Album. already boasts two 2x Platinum, chart-topping singles with “Fall In Love” and “Rock And A Hard Place.” The latter, according to Billboard, made Zimmerman “the first male artist to spend six weeks atop Country Airplay just two or fewer promoted chart entries, in a lead role, into a career.” His current single “Religiously” is now Top 10 and climbing on country radio, with 175 million global streams.

The young superstar has already surpassed 2.6 billion global streams to date. His stadium-ready country rock is on display as he continues to support Morgan Wallen on one of the biggest country tours of the year, which includes three dates at the legendary Fenway Park later this month, in addition to selling out the North America dates on his headlining Religiously. The Tour. which kicks off February 2024.

Zimmerman’s recent collaboration with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Dermot Kennedy was featured on the soundtrack for Fast X, the 10th and penultimate installment of the Fast & Furious mega franchise.
