Pop stars will perform in Melbourne and Sydney in June 2023

Blackpink will head Down Under for four dates on their Born Pink World Tour, presented by Frontier Touring. The K-pop superstars will perform two shows in Melbourne and Sydney this June, following US, European and Asian stops. Due to unforeseen logistical challenges, the originally announced Auckland show will no longer be feasible.

A Frontier Members presale runs for 24 hours starting Wednesday, February 8th at 11 am local time for Sydney and 1 pm local time for Melbourne. The general on sale begins Thursday, February 9th at noon local time for Sydney and at 2 pm local time for Melbourne via Frontier Touring.

Recently announced as a headliner on Coachella 2023 – alongside Frank Ocean and Bad Bunny – Blackpink is on a meteoric rise, becoming the first ever K-pop act to headline the festival. They have taken on stages around the world, including multiple sold out nights at London’s iconic O2 Arena.

Following the release of their recent single, “Pink Venom,” the record-breaking group made history with the biggest release by a female group or solo artist this decade. The song debuted at No.1 on Spotify’s global top songs chart and amassed over 7.9 million streams within the first 24 hours. On YouTube, the official music video reached 100 million views faster than any video by a female group ever, with 90.4 million views being within the first 24 hours. With close to 510 million views, the single was the biggest YouTube debut of 2022.

They are the most-subscribed music act on YouTube with over 84 million followers and have set two Guinness World Records including most-viewed music video within the first 24 hours of release and earned the status of most- followed girl group on Spotify.
