Event takes place in late August

Blackpink announces the Born Pink Pop-Up Experience in Los Angeles from August 24th through August 27th at 805 N. La Cienega Ave., presented by American Express. Japanese graphic artist, Verdy, serves as the artistic director for the global pop-up experience that recently appeared in London and New York. The Born Pink Pop-Up in Los Angeles will give fans access to an added dimension of the group’s record breaking Born Pink World Tour with limited edition merchandise collection which will include premium tee shirts, hoodies, hats and accessories designed by Verdy exclusively for the pop-up experience.

Verdy has created the exclusive capsule collection to coincide with upcoming global activations where he creates a world that merges his distinct artistic touch with Blackpink’s trendsetting aesthetic. Verdy is a graphic artist from Osaka, Japan who currently resides in Tokyo. He is notably known for his iconic projects Girls Don’t Cry, Wasted Youth, his panda rabbit character Vick and most recently Visty. Verdy has worked with brands such as Nike, Human Made, Instagram, Levi’s, The Minions, Coachella, Dover Street Market and more. His creative efforts continue to thrive, acquiring him recognition worldwide.

The four-day event is produced by Bravado, Universal Music Group’s industry leading merchandise and brand management company. All visitors who purchase merchandise at the experience will receive a limited edition, Verdy designed tote bag, while supplies last, courtesy of American Express.
