Blackpink’s Rosé signs global deal with Atlantic Records

The Korean-New Zealand superstar is the second member to sign a solo deal

Global icon Rosé has announced a highly anticipated worldwide deal with Atlantic Records, in management partnership with TheBlackLabel. Additional news is expected to follow soon.

As a member of Blackpink, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, Rosé has shattered records, performed on the most heralded stages, and amassed millions of fans globally. On her own, the Korean-New Zealand superstar’s 2021 single “On The Ground” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and became the highest-charting song by a solo K-pop female on the Billboard Hot 100. Simultaneously, she has been an unstoppable force in fashion as a global ambassador for renowned brands including Saint Laurent, Tiffany & Co, Rimowa, and Puma.

Rosé is the second Blackpink member to sign a solo deal with a major US-based label. Earlier this year, Lalisa Manobal announced a new partnership with RCA Records. Under the deal, Lisa will release new solo music with RCA Records and retain ownership of all her recordings. This artist-first approach further demonstrates Lisa’s ability to push boundaries in the music industry.
