Song is from forthcoming album

Brett Eldredge shouts down his inner bully in his new song, “I Feel Fine,” released alongside the official music video. Featured on his forthcoming fifth studio album, Songs About You, due June 17th via Warner Music Nashville, the track finds Eldredge standing tall and resolute with steadfast self-assurance as he pushes back against those self-critical thoughts that try to demean our gifts and dominate our quiet moments.

“I hope the fans hear this song and think ‘I can also feel strong about myself and in control of my life,’” Eldredge shares. “Because things like your worries, anxieties and other people’s opinions can really weigh you down and I know how tough it can feel. But if you really find that power within yourself, then no one can dictate how you feel. No one gets to make that decision but you. I hope people are encouraged by this song to do that for themselves and be there for themselves.”

An outspoken advocate for mental health, the country singer/songwriter recently shared his personal experience with anxiety, self-doubt, and panic attacks as a guest on the Ed Mylett podcast. Earlier this month, Eldredge also announced his headlining Songs About You Tour, which kicks off in his home state of Illinois and will make several stops across North America.

Written by Eldredge, Jessie Jo Dillon and Ben West, the lyrics namecheck lines from classics like Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark,” Bonnie Raitt’s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” as Eldredge works through the memories of an old flame, sparked by music he hears throughout the day.

Songs About You will feature 12 songs co-written by Eldredge including the previously released “Want That Back,” “Holy Water” and the title track. These latest releases follow his seven country radio No. 1’s, nine Gold and Platinum-certified singles, two Gold-certified albums, multiple CMA, ACM and CMT Music nominations and wins and most recently, his critically acclaimed fourth studio record, Sunday Drive.
