Brett Young is sharing plans for a laid-back “weekend” with Weekends Look A Little Acoustic These Days – officially out September 3rd via BMLG Records. The upcoming release offers fresh, stripped-down versions of the songs from his latest collection, Weekends Look A Little Different These Days. Fans can now listen to the acoustic version of his current single “Not Yet.”
The 7x chart-topper has 5.5 billion global streams continues to add to his stacked portfolio. Inspired by the lyrics of his familial gold-certified No. 1 song, “Lady,” Young writes a love letter to his little girls and details the joys of fatherhood with his debut children’s book. “Love You, Little Lady” is out everywhere books are sold on August 24th via Tommy Nelson (an imprint of HarperCollins). The hitmaker is set to appear on TalkShopLive with host Shawn Parr on Tuesday, August 17th at 6 pm ET.
Young is taking his new music and nonstop hits on the road starting next month, kicking off his inaugural Caliville Weekend Labor Day Weekend in Palm Springs. Young has curated the musical lineup and activities nearby his Southern California hometown. The event was originally slated for June 18-21, but postponed in an effort to host the safest and most special experience possible for fans. Fans can also see Young live on his headlining The Weekends Tour beginning on September 11th in Fort Worth, TX featuring Maddie & Tae and Filmore with Ryan Hurd and Matt Ferranti on select shows.
Last month, Young became a member of Pandora’s Billionaire Club as he was surprised during tour rehearsals in Nashville with a Pandora Billionaire Plaque for surpassing one billion streams on the platform.
