The song is released as his current single heats up the charts
Diamond-selling superstar Brian Kelley’s got small-town life on his mind in “Dirt Cheap” via Big Machine Records.
“The moment I heard ‘Dirt Cheap’ I knew I had to record it. It reminded me of some of my favorite Country songs growing up that really pull at your heartstrings. As much as I love the beach, I love the country too,” shares Kelley. “This song matches and meets me where I’m at in life currently. Aiming for a much-needed homecoming, “Dirt Cheap” was written by Seth Ennis, Wyatt McCubbin, and Andy Sheridan. All about slowing down in a world moving way too fast, it finds a couple ditching their hectic lives in the city for something a little more down-to-earth – and a little less expensive too. Produced by Dann Huff with a sunny, mellow-Country soundscape, the up-tempo tune mixes inviting acoustic guitars and breezy steel with the warmth of Kelley’s celebrated voice, further painting an easygoing picture of life as it was meant to be.
In the studio working on his full-length debut album with Big Machine Records, “Dirt Cheap” comes as Kelley’s current single, “See You Next Summer,” nears the top 30.
