The song is one of radio’s most added for the week

Diamond-selling superstar Brian Kelley is back as a most-added artist at country radio with 25 first-week stations launching the new single “Acres,” from his debut album Tennessee Truth, due via Big Machine Records.

“Acres” sits in the Top 3 this week, following last year’s success with his first time in the No. 1 most-added position as a solo artist with “See You Next Summer.” Over larger-than-life drums and a signature fiddle hook, Kelley sings about his simplest desire in the Dann Huff-produced “Acres”: the woman he loves in wide open spaces. “I closed my eyes the day we were writing that,” recalls Kelley of writing with Adam Sanders and Will Weatherly, “and I imagined my wife, Brittney, on her family farm in Georgia. Even now, I picture it. Riding dirt roads and going to get peach ice cream and boiled peanuts. That’s one of my favorite places to go to get off the grid, to just be me with the woman I love. What’s better? Nothing. I wanted to capture that in a song.”

With eight to his co-writing credit on Tennessee Truth, Kelley is readying to perform a setlist full of this new music during his Surf Post Sessions, beginning tonight (Tues, June 25th). After a sold-out run of back-to-back summer and fall residencies in 2022, the 13-date 2024 headline shows are again hosted in the backyard of the Tribe Kelley Surf Post in Grayton Beach, FL. The Tribe Kelley Surf Post is run by Kelley and Brittney and is fully stocked with Tribe Kelley brand items.

With a slew of music festivals on deck, Kelley is also tapped to return for the fourth annual Big Machine Music City Grand Prix as part of the Indycar Championship Weekend. He’ll be playing on the iHeartCountry FanZone Stage on September 14th.
