Interlude : Shadow is led by Suga
Global superstars BTS has unveiled Interlude : Shadow, the comeback trailer for their fourth studio album, Map of the Soul: 7, scheduled for release on February 21st via Big Hit Entertainment.
In the trailer, Suga presents a powerful rap about the responsibilities and fears that follow the success achieved as a member of BTS. Within the comeback trailer, he is seen surrounded by a crowd that personifies his multiple egos and desires.
Interlude : Shadow is an epic yet sentimental Emo hip hop track that draws samplings from the instruments of “Intro : O!RUL8,2?” from the 2013 release O!RUL8,2?.
The global launch of Map of the Soul: 7 is scheduled for February 21st at 6 pm KST/4 am EST. The first single drops January 17th.
Anticipation remains high as BTS continues the Map of the Soul series. Global fans are eager to discover how the story will continue on from the previous installment, which explored the message of finding joy in love and reaching out to the world.
BTS has planted three albums on the top of the charts within just eleven months. They scored their first chart-topping record with Love Yourself 轉 ‘Tear’, soon to be followed by their next two No. 1 albums Love Yourself 轉 ‘Answer’ and Map of the Soul: Persona. Their latest album also came first among Top 10 Physical Albums in the U.S. according to the 2019 Nielsen Music Mid-Year Report.
