“Fri(end)s” is due on March 15th
V of 21st century pop icons BTS has announced the release of a new digital single titled “Fri(end)s.”
Through an announcement made via global fandom life platform Weverse and BTS’ official social media channels, BigHit Music stated that the single is set for release on March 15th at 1 pm KST.
The track, rooted in the pop, soul, and R&B genres, delivers relatable and witty romance through lyrics written entirely in English. The single artwork accompanying the announcement reveals the song title and release date against a vivid pink background that hints at the song’s sweet mood.
A short clip was uploaded on BTS’ official social media channels a day before the single announcement capturing V in his effortlessly cool and natural state, sparking curiosity from fans.
The single arrives six months after his first solo album Layover in September 2023. Having garnered significant recognition as a solo artist, V is poised to once again showcase his magnetic presence as a soulful vocalist channeling his distinctive sound and unique tastes through the upcoming single.
Ahead of the new single, V will unveil a diverse array of content including concept photos and teaser videos, offering a further glimpse into the new single.
