Carly Pearce announces fourth studio album

Hummingbird will be available on June 14th

Carly Pearce has announced the release of her highly anticipated fourth studio album Hummingbird, out June 14th via Big Machine Records. In tandem, Pearce has also released the album’s stirring title track, “Hummingbird,” available now on all platforms. “Hummingbird” is accompanied by a stunning music video, which emphasizes the track’s traditional country sound and sets the tone for Carly’s creative vision ahead of the upcoming album.

Produced by Pearce, Shane McAnally, and Josh Osborne, the project marks Pearce’s debut as a co-producer and fully represents her new musical chapter – one of forward motion.

Discussing her inspirations for the Hummingbird album, Pearce says, “I have lived a lot of life in the last few years. Entering a new decade has brought a lot of maturity, growth, heartache, and healing. I am still a work in progress, but these songs represent my honesty, playfulness, and openness to keep growing.”

Following the success of her last studio album 29: Written in Stone, Pearce fully leans into her authentic country sound encompassed by the symbolism of the hummingbird which represents the album’s themes of growth, humility, understanding, playfulness, and optimism.

Of the album’s title track, “Hummingbird,” Pearce says, “When I wrote this song, I knew I wanted this to be the title of the album. This song plays on my bluegrass roots but also lyrically tells the story of the journey I am on of finding love. This is the most unapologetically ‘Carly’ song I’ve ever written.”

The album also features the Grammy-nominated, Top 20-and-rising single “We Don’t Fight Anymore” featuring Chris Stapleton. The critically acclaimed song is officially RIAA gold-certified.

Keeping her foot on the gas, Pearce hits the road this week with upcoming performances at Country 2 Country Festival in the United Kingdom. Starting March 14th, Pearce will join Tim McGraw as direct support on all dates of his 2024 arena Standing Room Only Tour.
