Chris Stapleton has announced that he’s extending his All-American Road Show Tour this summer. This time, he’s bringing along friends Marty Stuart and Brent Cobb. The 2018 leg of the trek kicks off in June and runs through November. As of this writing, Stapleton is taking the month of September off.
Tickets on sale Friday, Feb 9th at 10 am. Fans can sign up for pre-sale access at StapletonFanClub.com.
The tour is in support of his From A Room, Volume 1 and Volume 2, which were released separately last year via UMG Nashville. The album takes its name from Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, where it was recorded during the winter of 2016-17. The album is produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb.
Last night (Sun, Jan 28th), Stapleton picked up three Grammy Awards, including Best Country Album for Volume 1. This is his second Best Country Album award as his first was for Traveller in 2016. During the pre-telecast, he picked up trophies for Best Country Song for his current single, “Broken Halos” and Best Country Solo Performance for “Either Way.” Stapleton also performed with Emmylou Harris, singing the late Tom Petty‘s “Wildflowers.”
