It Must Be Christmas – An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young kicks off around Thanksgiving
A professed fan of all things Christmas, Chris Young is excited to announce his first-ever holiday tour – It Must Be Christmas – An Acoustic Evening with Chris Young. Tickets for the 15-date headlining shows are on sale starting Friday, August 8th at 10 am local time.
Young will be sharing the spirit of the season with his live take on holiday classics featured on his It Must Be Christmas album, released in 2016.
“Christmas is probably my favorite holiday,” shares Young. “Music was always heavily tied to the spirit of the season for me, so I can’t wait to celebrate that feeling with everyone out on the road this year!”
The Christmas tour news comes on the heels of announcing a new album — I Didn’t Come Here To Leave — releasing October 17th. The project marks the start of a new chapter. His tenth album, and first with Black River Entertainment, is a landmark project featuring 14 fresh songs over eleven co-writes. The album’s fall release date also coincides with another special milestone — the Grammy-nominated vocalist’s eighth anniversary of his induction into the exclusive membership of the Grand Ole Opry.
Young first teased the project with the 2025 single “Til The Last One Dies.” As the lead single from Young’s forthcoming album, “Til The Last One Dies” is rising on the country radio and streaming charts while the title track—“I Didn’t Come Here To Leave”—is available now!
