Leading independent live events company, Activated Events, is proud to announce the debut of the OC Smoke Show, coming to The Riding Park in San Juan Capistrano on Saturday, August 16th.
The creators of Coastal Country Jam, the West Coast’s original beachfront country festival, and the nationally touring Boots In The Park series, Activated Events returns to its roots with its first OC country show since 2019, as they take over their newest venue, The Riding Park. This marks Activated’s first event at this breathtaking venue nestled in the heart of San Juan Capistrano.
The inaugural OC Smoke Show will feature a powerhouse lineup of country music stars, headlined by multi-platinum recording artist Chris Young, with performances by Chris Janson, The Band Perry, Dylan Schneider, Kelsey Hart, and Matt Koerner.
The Smoke Show turns up the heat by blending Activated Events’ high-energy country music festival with a mouthwatering barbecue food fest, creating the ultimate celebration of sound and flavor. Launched in 2024 in Gilbert, AZ, this sizzling event celebrates the unique flavors of the Southwest and brings together a large selection of local handcraft BBQ vendors, serving up everything from fall-off-the-bone ribs and juicy brisket to unexpected delights like smoked pecan pie. Now expanding to Albuquerque, NM and Orange County, CA, the Smoke Show continues to turn up the heat as it brings its signature blend of bold flavor and high-energy country music to new cities.

Presale tickets for The OC Smoke Show go on sale Thursday, June 5th at 10 am PT, with general on-sale beginning Friday, June 6th.
