Rising R&B Pop star Chxrry (formerly known as Chxrry22) presents the slick and sexy music video for her it-girl summer anthem “Main Character” via XO Records/Republic Records. The clip sees her join forces with none other than fashion trailblazer and creative visionary Mowalola behind the camera as director.
The visual opens intimately with Chxrry on a bed as she directly addresses the camera. In between stunning vignettes highlighted by jaw-dropping elite choreography. It culminates with a fashion-forward sequence where she dons a variety of runway-ready looks and slays in each frame of the clip.
“Main Character” has bubbled up as a banger adopted by some of the most prominent women across culture. It has soundtracked posts courtesy of LaLa, Love Island winner Amaya Papaya, Chlöe Bailey, the Toronto Tempo, and Chicago Sky WNBA star Angel Reese.
This month, Chxrry wowed the audience during Essence GU Kickback and Creators House at The Fillmore New Orleans during the Essence Festival of Culture with a knockout performance of “Main Character.”
In February, she ignited this era with “Just Like Me.”
Asserting herself as a dynamic performer, she recently captivated sold-out crowds up and down the East Coast on the road with Flo during their Access All Areas Tour.
