“Five hundred episodes is truly a milestone, and we are thrilled to share this event with all the fans who tune in week after week,” states Hot 20 Countdown executive producer Quinn Brown “A huge thank-you to all the artists who continue to support us, appear on the show and help us give fans an exclusive peek into their worlds. And a special thanks to one of our favorite guests, Luke Bryan, who has been so good to us for so many years. Here’s to 500 more!”

Since premiering on January 5, 2013, CMT’s flagship show, Hot 20 Countdown, has been giving fans a VIP pass into country music. The weekly series features interviews and performances from country music’s biggest superstars and up-and-coming artists from its home base in Nashville and around the world, showcasing must-see tours and the biggest festivals, all while counting down the 20 hottest videos in the genre.

Earlier this year, the show debuted its first-ever live broadcast as part of CMT Music Awards Week, hosted by Cody Alan, Carissa Culiner and Rissi Palmer, providing exclusive behind-the-scenes action from show rehearsals and more.
