Winston-Salem will be available on November 7th
Rising country star Cooper Alan announces his debut album, Winston-Salem, due November 7th. In conjunction, Alan releases “Hard Acre.”

Rising country-rock artist Cooper Alan brings it all home with Winston-Salem, his debut full-length album, and a heartfelt nod to the North Carolina town that raised him. Blending high-energy bar anthems with soul-searching ballads, the project is split into two sides: Winston reflects on family, fatherhood, and personal roots, while Salem turns up the volume with rowdy, feel-good tracks that Alan is known for.
“Hard Acre” arrives on the heels of tracks “Holy Ghost” and “Dale Dickens (RIP),” which were released earlier this year. The track is a powerful blend of heartfelt storytelling and raw vulnerability and paints a vivid picture of love, loss, and the memories that turn a house into a home. With honest lyrics and a soul-stirring melody, Alan captures the bittersweet moment of letting go. With this release, Alan further sharpens his signature reflective songwriting, capturing the rich nostalgia and emotional depth that have become the hallmark of his artistry.
Amid a breakthrough year, Alan is riding the momentum with an impressive string of headlining shows, including a highly anticipated Canadian leg this fall. Earlier in the year, he completed his headlining To The Bar Tour, selling out the majority of dates and solidifying his status as one of the most exciting rising stars in music. In addition to the tour, Alan launched his foundation, The Cooper Alan Foundation, earlier this year, which supports mental health organizations and causes.
