Band may be plotting a 2024 tour

Creed is teasing some big news that will be revealed on Wednesday, July 19th. The post-grunge rockers are rumored to be launching a 25th anniversary tour of their best-selling album, Human Clay, which was released in 1999.

Earlier today (Thurs, July 13th), the group shared an 18-second video clip on their socials containing early photos of the band with Human Clay‘s opening song “Are You Ready?” as its soundtrack. The video ends with a message asking, “Are you ready? Let’s go back to the summer of ’99. Coming soon 7.19.”

Human Clay has sold more than 20 million units globally. The album includes the hits “Higher,” “What If,” “Are You Ready?” and “With Arms Wide Open,” the latter which won the band a Grammy in 2001.

The reunion would be their second, after disbanding in 2004 and then reuniting for an album and tour in 2009.

The band has been on hiatus since 2013, after they completed touring in support of their fourth album Full Circle. Guitarist Mark Tremoni and drummer Scott Phillips have stayed busy as members of Alter Bridge since 2004 while frontman Scott Stapp has pursued a solo career.
