Cruel World Festival announces 2024 return

The event will take place in Pasadena, California on May 11th

Goldenvoice has announced the return of Cruel World Festival taking place Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California featuring a headline performance by Duran Duran who recently released their 16th studio album Danse Macabre – a haunting collection of original songs, covers and reimagined classics. Saturday will also see performances from Interpol, Blondie, Simple Minds, Placebo, Soft Cell, Adam Ant, Ministry, Gary Numan, DreamCar and many more!

Paying tribute to the industrial metal and new wave music scene, Ministry will be playing songs from their influential studio albums, With Sympathy and Twitch, and Gary Numan will be performing his debut solo studio album, The Pleasure Principle.

Additionally, AFI’s Davey Havok and No Doubt’s Tony Kanal, Tom Dumon, and Adrian Young’s supergroup DreamCar will grace the stage with their unique take on the new wave genre.
