The track is the first new music from the rapper in 2024

Eight-time Grammy-nominated recording artist DaBaby makes his first return in 2024 with his thunderous track “Grammy Party” via South Coast Music Group/Interscope Records. The rapper’s gruff delivery and bulletproof highlight his latest NSFW release, as he raps about being posted up at the illustrious party. Baby’s hardnosed raps about his bank account and being an uncaged MC when let loose adds extra punch to the song, as he tells listeners why “he’s a dog.” The video gives a clearer perspective as to why Baby remains an upper-echelon creative with his dynamic visuals, as he parties with his family and children, who are all dressed to the nines at the rapper’s lavish mansion.

March 1st is the fifth anniversary of Baby’s acclaimed debut album, Baby on Baby. With a fistful of hits, including his Billboard Hot 100 top 10 single “Suge,” Baby carved out his rookie year with a first platinum-selling album and a Billboard Power Players cover in 2019. Baby on Baby also included platinum single “Going Baby” and “Baby Sitter” with Offset, solidifying Baby as one of the genre’s most decorated hitmakers.

Baby was busy in 2023, earning nominations at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards as he received nominations for Best Live Performer, Best Hip-Hop Video, and Video Director of the Year alongside Reel Goats. He also released the smash hit single “Shake Sumn,” which became his sixth No. 1 song after it topped the urban radio chart. It also peaked at No. 11, No. 18, and No. 65 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Hot 100 charts, respectively.
