The song features Tyla & Nile Rodgers
Acclaimed Italian singer-songwriter Damiano David has announced the news of his new single “Talk to Me,” featuring collaborations from South African sensation and Grammy Award winner Tyla and the legendary, multiple Grammy Award-winning Nile Rodgers.
The song will be unveiled next Thursday, September 11th, at 8 pm ET via Sony Music Italy/Arista Records. The single is a thrilling collaboration, bringing together Damiano’s signature emotional lyrics, Tyla’s one-of-a-kind vocals, and the iconic groove of Nile Rodgers.
“As the tour was approaching, I unexpectedly felt a new wave of inspiration that led me to write ‘Talk to Me’. What made this spark even more exciting was knowing that the legendary Nile Rodgers thought the song worthy of adding his solo guitar. I always felt this song should be a duet, and since I’ve recently been listening a lot to ‘Water’. I was completely blown away and really wanted to have her sing it with me,” David shares.
Following the success of Funny Little Fears, which features collaborations with Suki Waterhouse and d4vd, this new single further cements Damiano’s commitment to expanding his musical horizons through bold, boundary-pushing creative partnerships.
“Talk to Me,” featuring Tyla and Nile Rodgers, follows Damiano’s highly anticipated debut solo album Funny Little Fears. The album has already collected over 800 million global streams.
Damiano received a 2025 MTV VMA nomination for Best Long Form Video, along with an MTV Push Performance of the Year nomination for the single “Next Summer.”
Fans will be able to hear songs from Funny Little Fears live later this year as Damiano will embark on a massive 2025 global tour with dates across Australia, North America, South America, Asia, and a completely sold-out run of shows in Europe. Encompassing over 30 dates across five continents, with multiple sold-out shows, venue upgrades, and additional dates added, it is a true statement of intent as he continues to introduce himself on the world stage.
