Two shows canceled and another postponed

Dan + Shay have canceled two dates in Orlando and Atlanta due to a member of its touring entourage testing positive for COVID-19. The popular country duo shared the news via social media on Tuesday (Nov 2nd), stating the dates planned for November 4th and 5th couldn’t be rescheduled.

“Some good news + some bad news… the bad news first: a member of our immediate touring party has tested positive for COVID-19 and to protect the safety of our fans and everyone around us, we will sadly have to cancel the upcoming dates in Orlando and Atlanta,” they write. “We were luckily able to reschedule the Hollywood show to April 21 (more info soon), but due to routing conflicts and the previously confirmed 2022 dates, we were unable to re-book Orlando and Atlanta. Refunds will be available at point of purchase.”

Those confirmed 2022 dates are as direct support for Kenny Chesney’s Here and Now 2022 stadium tour which also features Old Dominion and Carly Pearce. The trek kicks off April 23rd in Tampa, FL and will hit Atlanta on May 21st.

The duo also shared that some “Christmas surprises” are coming this holiday season, the first of which was released this morning in the form of an Amazon Music Original track called “Pick Out a Christmas Tree.”

Dan + Shay plan to make up the cancelation news in “a big way soon.” No further details have been revealed, but fans are clamoring for a full length Christmas album after releasing “Take Me Home For Christmas” and “Christmas Isn’t Christmas” last year.
