The single is from DDG’s Moo
Red-hot multi-platinum hip hop star DDG continues his blistering 2025 with the premiere of his latest music video, “No Smoke,” featuring Gunna, via Epic Records.
Directed by longtime collaborator Ronnie Lewis (Wiz Khalifa, G Herbo), the lavish new visual pairs the Michigan and Atlanta heavyweights against the dazzling backdrop of Dubai, capturing both artists at the height of their success. “No Smoke” appears on DDG’s latest album, Moo, his second full-length release this year.
As he continues the momentum of a massive year, DDG’s relentless grind shows no signs of slowing. Moo, a 14-track flex of creativity and confidence, dropped on the artist’s birthday a few weeks ago, and alongside Gunna reunites him with PlaqueBoyMax and Bia.
Bringing one of the album’s true stand-outs to life in the new music video for “No Smoke,” it doesn’t get any grander than the Emirates. When it was time to enjoy the fruits of their labor, DDG and Gunna knew exactly where to head. “Had a dream last night, I was selling out all the arenas,” DDG raps. “Got the ice on in Dubai, might turn to Aquafina.” Living one’s raps has never looked so fun.
The release of Moo came on the heels of a peak period for DDG as an entertainer, who released his innovative album Blame the Chat this spring after his marathon Hit-A-Thon Twitch stream. DDG livestreamed the album’s creation 24/7 over seven days. Fans were invited to participate in real time—shaping lyrics, selecting beats, and watching surprise appearances from collaborators like Ty Dolla $ign, Rich the Kid, BIA, DaBaby, and Wiz Khalifa. The event made DDG the No. 1 live channel on Twitch worldwide and set a new subscription record. Subsequent single releases, which are regularly created live on stream, have further cemented his status as a unique authority in the Hip Hop streaming space.
