Acclaimed songwriter signs new global publishing deal
One of the most prolific and successful contemporary songwriters in modern time, Diane Warren has signed new global publishing and recording deals with BMG. During her extraordinary award-winning career, Warren has tallied an incredible nine No. 1 and 32 Top 10 charting songs on the Billboard Hot 100. Among the most highly decorated and recognized songwriters in history, Warren is a Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, an 11-time Academy Award nominee whose songs have been featured in over 100 motion pictures, and recipient of the Grammy Award, Emmy Award, and Golden Globe Award, among many other honors.
Under the new deals, BMG will administer Warren’s entire songwriting publishing catalog (ex-US and Canada) under her Realsongs umbrella and release her forthcoming album, featuring many of her latest works performed by an array of acclaimed artists, later this year.

Warren works with many of music’s most popular acts, including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Snoop Dogg, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, Andra Day, Demi Lovato, Common, Janelle Monae and Missy Elliott. Throughout her career spanning four decades, Warren has written for iconic artists including Whitney Houston, Cher, Aerosmith, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Reba McEntire, and many more.
A Grammy Award winner, Warren has received 15 nominations, including three for Song Of The Year. Warren is a five-time honoree of ASCAP’s Pop Songwriter of the Year, as well as the recipient of ASCAP’s Country Songwriter of the Year, and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Internationally, she has been awarded the prestigious Ivor Novello Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors, receiving the Special International Award, and was most recently named a laureate of the esteemed Polar Music Prize to be presented in 2021.
