A North American stage tour begins on September 5th. Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien (Hairspray), this critically acclaimed production of The Sound of Music will tour more than 80 cities. With fresh staging and a cast of rising stars, this production breathes new life into the enduring tale of Maria and the von Trapp family.
The restored film returns to cinemas worldwide in stunning 4K, thanks to Fathom Entertainment & Trafalgar Releasing. Showings will take place in more than one thousand cinemas across more than 30 countries. The film will be available in the US from September 12-17 and Canada from September 13-17.
A Hollywood Bowl Sing-A-Long takes place on September 20th in Los Angeles. Join 18,000 fans under the stars for the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music Sing-A-Long at the Hollywood Bowl amphitheater, hosted by Melissa Peterman. Costumes welcomed, lyrics provided.
