New vinyl reissues are dropping this fall
Universal Music Group is getting a jumpstart on the holiday season with new Christmas compilations from Donna Summer and The Carpenters. Summer’s Christmas Spirit and The Carpenters’ Christmas Once More are available digitally and on vinyl on October 4th.
Donna Summer’s first and only holiday album, Christmas Spirit, combines traditional Christmas carols with three original Christmas tracks by Donna Summer, as well as a cover of Amy Grant’s “Breath of Heaven (Mary’s Song).“
Produced by Michael Omartian, the album Christmas Spirit is the first vinyl reissue in 30 years that features the original ten tracks.
Christmas Once More is the all-new Christmas collection featuring 16 timeless Carpenters holiday classics curated by Richard Carpenter.
This newly remixed and remastered 16-track set includes “Sleigh Ride,” “(There’s No Place Like) Home for the Holidays,” “Merry Christmas, Darling” featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and many more!
Christmas Once More will be available on gold-colored vinyl with an 11.5-inch by 11.5-inch insert.
