The heartfelt new track is available now

Country-soul singer Drake White returns with a deeply moving new song, “Ladder To The Sky,” available now. A heartfelt note to happiness beyond this world, “Ladder To The Sky” follows swaying traveler’s anthem, “Spirit” from late June.

Co-written by White, Vanessa Olivarez, and Andy Skib, “Ladder To The Sky” places a from-the-heart emphasis on the comfort found in being a part of something bigger than tangible Earth. A truly beautiful take on some of life’s scariest unknowns, the song makes peace and tranquility out of the masses beyond the stars, rainbows, and clouds that everyone is striving for.

An anthem tributes to learning to trust the path ahead, White teased the demo on Instagram and wrote, “I’m guilty of always pushing to what’s next. This is to remind me that we control very little in this life. Just keep climbing, and you’ll end up exactly where you need to be.”

Produced by White, the touching track finds simple guitar strums paired with meaningful lyrics and White’s achingly smooth vocals to create a delicate lullaby about true joy found in trust, forgiveness, and believing.

The inspiring Benefit for the Brain, a one-night-only charity concert set for Monday, August 28th at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, is only three days away. Featuring performances by White, Riley Green, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, and more, the nearly sold-out event is planned as an encouraging night raising funds and awareness for mental and brain health – a deeply personal cause for White, who survived an onstage stroke in 2019.

In related news, White has also announced his co-headlining Blow Up Your TV Tour with Texas country hitmaker William Clark Green. Starting October 20th in Fort Worth, Texas, the run will feature 15 dates spread out across the Western half of the US, including stops in Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Minneapolis, and more before finishing December 9th in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
