Biopic’s soundtrack features an all-star cast

RCA Records has announced the artists appearing on the Elvis Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s forthcoming film Elvis. Eminem, Ceelo Green, Chris Isaak, Kacey Musgraves, Jack White, Maneskin, Jazmine Sullivan, Tame Impala, and Yola are among the acts on the all-star compilation. The set also features original recordings by Elvis himself.

The lead single, Doja Cat’s “Vegas,” incorporates “Hound Dog” and was released May 6th on all platforms.

Song titles weren’t disclosed, but Kacey Musgraves will cover “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and Maneskin will offer “If I Can Dream,” which is seen in a recent trailer.

Elvis is an epic, big-screen spectacle from visionary filmmaker Baz Luhrmann that explores the life and music of Elvis Presley (Austin Butler) through the prism of his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker (Tom Hanks). The soundtrack features Elvis’s extraordinary body of work spanning the 1950s, 60s and 70s, while also celebrating his diverse musical influences and enduring impact on popular artists today.

The film is due in theaters on June 24th.
