The gripping clip is from the group’s sixth mini album
K-pop’s unrivaled storytellers Enhypen unveil an adrenaline-fueled music video for “Outside” from their genre-spanning sixth mini album Desire: Unleash.
Released on the Hybe Labels YouTube channel, the music video depicts a thrilling chase between the seven members and their shadow counterparts—manifestations of their desires. Inner conflicts unfold through contrasting visuals: the shadow figures burst with bold, vibrant colors inspired by arcade game aesthetics, while their true selves appear in sleek, monochrome tones, emphasizing the stark contrast. The choreography, captured with bodycam angles in key moments, highlights the intense face-off between the members and shadows, amplifying the dramatic tension.
“Outside” is a hip-hop trap track with unapologetic lyrics that express the desire to turn “you” into someone like themselves. The gritty rap verses hit with fierce intensity, while powerful gang vocals surge with raw, kinetic energy—together, these elements carve out a bold, dynamic edge to the group’s sound. A standout hook built on a sample of Three 6 Mafia’s iconic “Stay Fly” adds a slick, modern flair that contrasts with the vocal delivery throughout the rap sections, creating a dynamic interplay that elevates the track’s intensity.
Released on June 5th, Enhypen’s Desire: Unleash debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 100,000 units sold, marking their fifth Top 10—and eighth overall—entry on the chart, while also topping Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. The album recorded over 2.14 million copies sold worldwide in its first week, making it the second highest-selling K-pop album of the year so far. The septet will soon embark on their U.S. and European legs of the ongoing Enhypen World Tour “Walk the Line” this summer, performing ten shows in 12 cities.
