Eric Clapton covers Willie Nelson’s ‘Always On My Mind’

The Guitar Great teams with Bradley Walker for the new version

Eric Clapton has released a cover of Willie Nelson’s “Always On My Mind” with Bradley Walker. The new cover and its accompanying music video pay homage to the country legend in celebration of his 90th birthday. The music video has premiered on MTV First Look alongside a Times Square video billboard.

The video for “Always On My Mind” is a touching collection of photos and videos that celebrate Willie Nelson’s legendary, decades-spanning career.

The song was produced by Clapton, Simon Climie and Jerry Douglas.

This new release comes ahead of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, held in Los Angeles this September, where Bradley Walker will also be performing. The two-day sold out event takes place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on September 23rd and 24th and will be offered as a pay-per-view event through a number of cable and streaming distribution outlets globally.
