Country star introduces the next chapter with new single

Giving a taste of what’s next, verging artist-writer Ernest steps into a new chapter with “Kiss Of Death.” Co-written by the awarded lyricist with hit makers Andy Albert and Ryan Vojtesak, and produced by Joey Moi, “Kiss Of Death” bridges traditional country soundscapes and sentiments with modern vernacular, a lane that Ernest has made his signature as he rolls on through a record year.

“I’m digging deeper into some of the stuff I was cutting my teeth on as a real young kid with a banjo and a dream,” Ernest shares. “The folk/bluegrass influences that I absorbed from such a young age…. I’ve been playing ‘Kiss Of Death’ and some other new ones on the road already, and seeing our crowd’s reactions to the new music is priceless.”

Chock full of fiery passion, the lyrics of the irresistible toe-tapper dive heartfirst into a relationship on danger’s edge, pleading “Cuz I feel like dancing with the devil / Take my heart and rip it out my chest / When I’m with you I’m good as gone girl / My angel in a fire-red dress / My kiss of death
/ Kiss me, kill me.”

Taking the soon-to-be sing-along favorite straight to the stage, Ernest brings “Kiss Of Death” and other new tracks to venues nationwide now on his headlining This Fire Tour. Rolling through November with Jake Worthington and Cody Lohen as support, Ernest wraps a year packed with live performances milestones with his final 2023 stop of Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour on November 11th at Atlanta’s Truist Park, alongside additional dates at the National Peanut Festival, Tailgate N’ Tallboys, and Opry NextStage Live.
