The Texas native releases her latest album
Country music newcomer Billie Jo Jones is taking the music world by storm with her latest new album distributed by Bob Frank Distribution (BFD), Some Girls Don’t Cry, which has climbed to the top multiple charts including the Texas Country Chart, Music Row, and Nashville’s CDX True Indie chart, reaching No. 1 for the second week in a row, resulting in over 60,000+ monthly listeners on Spotify.
This album showcases a mix of modern flair and traditional roots, giving Billie Jo Jones a sound that’s truly her own. With tracks highlighted by The Music Universe, Jones is steadily carving out her place in country music, one song at a time. Below, you can hear “Whose Tequila Are You Drinkin'” and “Why You Gotta Be So Cowboy.”
“Creating this album has been a dream come true,” shares Jones. “Working alongside Kent Wells, who works with so many artists including Dolly Parton is unbelievable in so many ways. To see your songs climb the charts is something I will never take for granted. Thank you to everyone, especially country radio and I hope you enjoy!”
Billie Jo continues to become one of Texas country music’s most beloved artists. She has shared the stage with notable performers such as Deana Carter, Gene Watson, Linda Davis, Barbara Fairchild, The Oak Ridge Boys, Diamond Rio, Justin Moore, Wade Bowen, Pat Green, Stoney LaRue, Roger Creager, Sam Riggs, Bryan White, Jerrod Niemann, Josh Abbott, Wade Hayes, Adam Hood, Jason Eady, Courtney Patton, Jamie Lin Wilson, and many others.
