Song stands as official collaboration between both rappers
After lighting up the internet, 2x Grammy Award-nominated Diamond-certified rap star Fetty Wap shares a very special new remix of his viral hit “Sweet Yamz” featuring multi-Platinum-selling, Grammy and Golden Globe nominated recording artist Wiz Khalifa via 300 Entertainment. This stands out as the first official collaboration between these two superstars.
“I really connected with the original song ‘Yamz’ from the first time I heard it earlier this year,” Fetty Wap shares. “It makes me think of one of my favorite cities, Miami. I immediately knew I wanted to flip it and had to do a Zoomix!”
Wiz Khalifa instantly became a fan of Fetty Wap’s “Sweet Yamz” upon release by playing the track on Thanksgiving, in the club, and on Instagram Live. He excitedly jumped on the remix, adding his own fresh and fiery flavor to the song with a scorching and sizzling verse.
Fetty Wap unveiled “Sweet Yamz” last month, and social media went wild. Within barely three weeks, it has amassed 10 million global audio streams and inspired 44.3K TikTok creates by everyone from Lizzo, and Odell Beckham, Jr. to Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg. Charlie Wilson exuberantly sang along to it online, while Snoop Dogg went so far as to call it “song of the year.”
Marking his first release as a lead artist since 2021, Fetty Wap reheated, recharged, and reupped the “Yamz” by Masego and Devin Morrison with this very special “Zoomix.”
