Can’t Say I Ain’t Country debuts on top of the Billboard Country Albums chart

Superstar duo Florida Georgia Line have backed up the title of their fourth studio album in unforgettable style, debuting Can’t Say I Ain’t Country (BMLG Records) at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart.

Continuing Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley’s relentless push forward while also reconnecting with their country roots, the highly-anticipated project racked up 300,000 album equivalents consumed globally to date, once again reaching fans and critics alike.

Wrapping a week-long, coast-to-coast Can’t Say I Ain’t Country celebration which found them appearing on both daytime and late-night television, the duo stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week for a double shot of fun. First, they performed their steamy single “Talk You Out of It,” and then stuck around to chat with host Ellen DeGeneres – who later surprised Hubbard and his wife Hayley with the sweet gender reveal of their second child due in August.

Adding to the excitement, FGL earned four nods for the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards, airing live at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS on April 7th, including Duo of the Year plus Single of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Event of the Year – all for their 4X platinum, “Meant to Be” collaboration with Bebe Rexha.

Already hailed as Spotify’s Most-Streamed Country Music Act of 2018 (garnering 2.5 billion streams on the platform alone), FGL will look to keep the good times rolling on the 2019 Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour this summer, featuring Dan + Shay and Morgan Wallen, plus special guests Hardy and Canaan Smith on select stops. Presented by FGL’s Old Camp Whiskey, the ultimate start to any party, and supported by number one Texas craft beer Shiner Bock, the run kicks off June 13th in Rogers, AR, and is currently scheduled to wrap September 28th in Irvine, CA.
