The band will play the Nile Theater on November 3rd
The Foo Fighters continue their series of pop-up shows with their Bakersfield debut. The band will perform “unlike anything you have ever seen before” at The Nile Theater on Monday, November 3rd, the group shares.
They teased the announcement with a picture of guitarist Pat Smear playing Buck Owens’ signature red, white, and blue guitar on stage with the caption, “I came here looking for something I couldn’t find anywhere else.”
Ticket sales will be available in person only and will begin at noon PT today (Sun, Nov 2nd) at The Fox Theater, 1700 20th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301. (The show on 11/3 will be at The Nile Theater, 1721 19th St., Bakersfield, CA 93301.)
Tickets are $30 all-in. No cash. No contactless or digital cards. Physical credit and debut cards only will be accepted. There is a two-ticket limit with the cardholder being one of the attendees. Tickets are will call only and must be picked up on Monday (Nov 3rd) after 3 pm with a valid photo ID. Full party must be present to enter the venue.
The show is the latest surprise show following Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, CA, The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA, The Black Cat in Washington, DC, and others over the past few months. They followed with a live EP, Are Playing Where??? Vol. 1, that captures the raw energy of their recent intimate, last-minute club shows across the United States. Available exclusively on the artist-centric platform Bandcamp, all proceeds from the six-track EP will be donated to local charities combating food insecurity in the cities where the performances were recorded.
The group has confirmed their first stadium tour since the massive 2023-2024 Everything or Nothing at All run that sold out football and baseball fields. Kicking off August 4, 2026, at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, the new tour will see Foo Fighters bringing the maximum volume euphoria of the band’s recent surprise US club gigs and overseas outdoor and arena spectaculars to 12 North American cities, concluding (for now) September 26th at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium.
The Foo Fighters also released their new song, “Asking for a Friend.” Featuring a decidedly darker melodic approach than the smash hit “Today’s Song,” “Asking for a Friend” ratchets up the energy and intensity of its predecessor in favor of hypnotic opening verses that build and explode into impassioned refrains of “What is real? I’m asking for a friend…”
