Gabby Barrett receives two RIAA certifications

The plaques are for “I Hope” and “The Good Ones”

Returning to the stage after the birth of her third child, Warner Music Nashville’s multi-platinum star Gabby Barrett made her much-anticipated premiere performance at the Grand Ole Opry this past Friday (July 19th) in Nashville. Introducing “Dance Like No One’s Watching” – written by Luke Combs, Emily Weisband, and James McNair – to the packed house, the momentous appearance marked her first time playing her current single live.

Earlier in the night, Barrett was surprised backstage with two plaques celebrating new RIAA certifications with mega breakout No. 1 “I Hope” now at eight-times platinum and three-week No. 1 “The Good Ones” at four-times platinum. She added these smash hits to her high-energy setlist – and ditched her stilettos too – alongside “Dance Like No One’s Watching,” as featured on her sought-after sophomore release Chapter & Verse.

Delivering her most autobiographical work with the sought-after sophomore release of Chapter & Verse, Gabby Barrett continues to intimately narrate her life with her current single “Dance Like No One’s Watching.” In a stunning evolution of platinum Goldmine and its deluxe edition, Barrett took greater creative control than ever before and co-produced the full album. Surpassing three billion global career streams, she’s also stacked major accolades like Billboard Women in Music 2022’s Rising Star Award, 2021 CMT Artists of the Year, and the iHeartRadio Titanium Award, plus nods from ACM, AMA, Billboard, CMA, CMT, and iHeartRadio. With top-tier co-hosting gigs on ACM Awards and CMA Country Christmas, Barrett has supported the hottest country tours including Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, and Brooks & Dunn, while playing mega music festivals like Stagecoach as well.
