CMA “Entertainer Of The Year” Garth Brooks’ ten disc boxed-set, Garth Brooks: The Ultimate Collection, debuted this week as the #1 best-selling album of the week with over 134,000 physical copies sold solely through Target, as reported by BuzzAngle Music. Brooks is also the top-selling artist of the week. The coveted collection includes Brooks’ highly-anticipated upcoming studio album Gunslinger (Pearl Records, Inc), that will be released nationwide Friday, November 25th along with nine discs of curated music including 18 previously unreleased tracks, including a special 25th anniversary edition of “Friends in Low Places” with special guests George Strait, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Keith Urban on guitar. Additionally, the duets album with Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, Christmas Together is #1 this week on Billboard’s Top Country albums chart.

“Debuting number one is always a thrill, and it’s really about making music and making that music affordable for people,” said Brooks. “We are very proud of the Target boxed set and the response has been both flattering and humbling. Ms. Yearwood and I have been threatening to make a duet record for years, and this Christmas album came together better than either one of us could have hoped.”

In the lead up to the national release of his studio album, Brooks has a stacked week of TV appearances as he stopped by The View Monday morning (Nov 21st) on ABC. Brooks will then be joined by Trisha Yearwood for more appearances this Thanksgiving week, starting with Good Morning America on November 24th and they will also appear on multiple Disney holiday specials including The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration (ABC) on November 24th at 8 pm ET, Disney Parks Presents: A Descendants Magical Holiday Celebration (Disney) on November 25th at 8 pm ET.
