The dates span through February
Alice Cooper has announced that guitarist Gilby Clarke will join his band for shows from January 31st through February 16th. He will replace Nita Strauss, who unfortunately has conflicting obligations. Previously, guitarist Orianthi had been planning to replace Strauss, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she is unable to do the tour.
Orianthi says her doctors advise her not to tour or travel as she undergoes health issues.
“I have a torn hamstring, hip and lower back issue which is very uncomfortable and unfortunate …Getting the help I need here with the best doctors . I have been advised to not tour / travel. I love Alice and the band very much, but won’t be able to do this short run with them this time .. I’m mending up ..Love you all,” she shares on Twitter/X.
Clarke, best known for his years with Guns N’ Roses, has had a long and successful career working with a wide variety of artists, including Nikki Sixx, Slash, Nancy Sinatra, Rockstar Supernova, Heart, Slim Jim Phantom, and MC5, as well as releasing several solo albums.
Cooper will be announcing further 2025 tour dates, with Nita Strauss back in the fold, including already-announced shows on May 9th at the Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio, the Boardwalk Rock Festival in Ocean City, Maryland on May 18th, and August 15th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Lincoln Financial Field with My Chemical Romance.
