The celebration will air on Circle Network this fall

The Grand Ole Opry is hosting an Opry Live special tribute to The Judds for the mother-daughter duo’s 40th anniversary. Wynonna Judd will return to the home of country music to perform on Tuesday, November 14th which will be included in the special. A Tribute To The Judds will air on December 2nd on Circle Network and the Circle All Access social media channels.

The special will also feature performances captured on the Opry stage throughout the fall of artists included on the album A Tribute To The Judds, scheduled for release October 27th via BMG, including Lainey Wilson (“Mama He’s Crazy”), Ashley McBryde, Shelly Fairchild (“Rockin’ With the Rhythm of the Rain”), Mandy Barnett, Emily West (“I Know Where I’m Going”) and Jamey Johnson, Ella Langley (“Young Love (Strong Love)).”

A Tribute To The Judds, the album, will also be partnering with the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), in honor of Naomi Judd, who passed away from the disease in April 2022.

Wynonna recently appeared on the Opry stage twice to host NBC’s upcoming Christmas at the Opry after accepting the Country Champion Award at the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards last month.

The two-hour Christmas at the Opry will air on NBC on December 7th at 8 pm ET/PT and on Peacock on December 8th featuring an all-star lineup including Opry members Trace Adkins, Lauren Alaina and Chris Janson as well as Adam Doleac, Breland, Brenda Lee, Chrissy Metz, Kelly Clarkson, Meghan Patrick, Mickey Guyton, and Mitchell Tenpenny.

This fall, fans can see the country legend perform songs from her first two solo albums on the Back To Wy theater tour. The Live Nation-produced trek will see Wy perform the 1992 and 1993 projects track by track, front to back, followed by a finale of her other hits along with The Judds classics. The 15-city tour kicks off on Tuesday, October 26th at Murat Theatre at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, IN making stops across the US in San Antonio, Dallas, Louisville and more before wrapping up in Knoxville at Tennessee Theatre on Friday, December 1st.
